My primary goal as a marriage and family therapist is to shift relationships from distress to connection and mutual support. I focus on creating long-term relationship changes rather than a “quick fix” because your relationship with me will be temporary, but the capacity for mutual support among family members has life-long potential.
I am an expert on creating relationship change, but I honor my clients as the experts on their life experiences and relationships. I use a collaborative approach to co-create solutions with clients by building on existing strengths.
As a certified as a holistic health counselor I also offer support and nutritional guidance to create an integrated wellness plan that supports emotional and physical health.

Why choose a LMFT over another mental health provider who offers family and couple therapy?
As a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), I am a “specialist” in treating couples and families. My education and training has REVOLVED around providing quality couple and family therapy whereas other mental health professionals have other specialized areas of training and for whom training in couple and family therapy was a part of a broader mental health education. If you were to develop a heart condition, would you prefer to see your primary care physician, or would you prefer to schedule directly with a cardiologist?
What sets me apart from other Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists?
Most LMFTs are master's level clinicians, whereas I continued my specialized education in couple and family therapy by earning my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in one of only 20 doctoral programs nationwide to be accredited as specializing in couple and family therapy by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
I also have experience providing both couple and family therapy online using HIPAA compliant technology that protects the security of your health information. When appropriate, I can offer services that include a hybrid of online and in-person sessions or services that take place exclusively online in the comfort of your own home.
