Core Relationship Skills Series: Revisiting & Repairing Conflict
Currently Available as a Self-Study Module - Next Group Session TBD
Conflict and moments of disconnection are unavoidable in relationships. Rather than trying to avoid conflict, research consistently tells us that it is whether we repair with our partner after these ruptures and how soon after we repair (the sooner the better!) that helps relationships stay strong and connected. This workshop will draw from both the EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) approach and the Gottman Method to give you tools for revisiting and reprocessing conflict. You will also learn strategies for how to effectively bring up concerns and frustrations with your partner to increase the likelihood that you will be heard and responded to in ways to both heal the past, ask for your needs to be met, and prevent future conflict.
Registration for this workshop session includes access to a recording of the material presented and all handouts for 60 days after the workshop. Once registered, you will receive the log-in information for the workshop session. Handouts and tip sheets will be sent by email directly following the workshop. Please include your partner's email in the notes when registering so we can send your partner this information as well.
This is a psychoeducational workshop that can offer you and your partner insights & skills to strengthen your relationship even without additional services. This workshop is also part of the Core Relationship Skills for Couples Workshop Series. The full workshop series also includes 90-minutes of private coaching with Julian Ramis.
