Core Relationship Skills Series: Compromise & Getting Unstuck from Recurring Conflict
Currently Available as a Self-Study Module - Next Group Session TBD
This workshop will draw heavily from the Gottman Method to explore the difference between issues that require compromise and perpetual problems that need to be renegotiated over the lifespan of a relationship. It will also help couples to better distinguish between these two types of problems and offer concrete strategies and exercises for how to work through each one. The workshop will also help couples understand the fundamental components of effective compromise and how negative cycles of communication can block both compromise and the resolution of gridlocked issues.
Registration for this workshop session includes access to a recording of the material presented and all handouts for 60 days after the workshop. Once registered, you will receive the log-in information for the workshop session. Handouts and tip sheets will be sent by email directly following the workshop. Please include your partner's email in the notes when registering so we can send your partner this information as well.
This is a psychoeducational workshop that can offer you and your partner insights & skills to strengthen your relationship even without additional services. This workshop is also part of the Core Relationship Skills for Couples Workshop Series. The full workshop series also includes 90-minutes of private coaching with Julian Ramis.
